Inclusive Education- A revolution!

Everyone is one of a kind. Everyone is unique. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Then why is our education same? Why are we taught what we are not interested in? Why are we coerced to crush our dreams and run after grades and marks? We all have been gifted with a special boon from the almighty and that ability is to be taken out not to be buried deep in the darkest depths of our hearts. Inclusive education is the only thing that can help us recognize ourselves and make our internal external.

Inclusive education is must but in a country like India, it is not accepted because we have been under the umbrella of Exclusive education and have never experienced the rejuvenating rain of Inclusive education. Our parents, teachers an the society as a whole is not letting us choose Inclusive education because they have not taken that path and find it to be full of risk. Everyone wants to drive us according to their own thoughts. They find some passions like games useless. One's talent cannot find room because importance is given to money and grades. From our early childhood, we are made to go to school to learn and write whatever the teachers say even if we could not understand anything out of that wreck. We are made to run after grades. People who want to swim are made to learn climbing trees. Our teachers and parents think that going to school, we would understand something,do something and after completing our studies, we would be a great and propertied people. But no-one thinks about us. They don't want to know what happens at the school or how much pressure we deal with. No one thinks about our feelings, our emotions and our thoughts. People see nightmares while sleeping but our lives turn into horrific and terrible nightmares.

Other than being diverted from the path to success, we face other problems as well. There are very little institutions for specific abilities, skills and talents in India. For instance, there is only one well-known institute, ISRO in India for people who want to explore the universe, people who have the curiosity to peep into the far reaches of the unknown far beyond even the imaginations of the greatest and the wildest imaginators. From there also, scientists and skilled people are running away for seeking more opportunities. It is actually the government of India which is forcing us to study everything irrespective of our interests.
But for the development of our country, we have to adopt Inclusive Education as it is the only path that can lead our mother nation to success and development. There are some extraordinary abilities and talents hidden in all of us. Swami Vivekananda said that education is the manifestation of the divine perfection already existing in man and child. He actually meant Inclusive education by this. Inclusive education is the need of generations which want to shine bright instead of being victims of shattered dreams. Change your present for someone's brighter tomorrow.
