The India which once stood high as the golden bird is now in the cage of corruption. hawala & terrorism are the elements used to construct the cage of corruption. In the cage, tears of blood are flowing from the eyes of freedom wishing golden bird. The small children of the golden bird have made an effort to free their mother from the cage of corruption & let her fly in the open sky, making her the happy bird once again. That effort has been named as demonetisation. 0n 8th of November, 2016 at 8pm, Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India & a child of mother India declared that Rs500 & Rs1000 currency notes would no longer be legal & replaced them with Rs2000 & new Rs500 currency notes.
The ultimate aim of demonetization is to stop hawala practices, to weaken the terrorist groups, to stop further corruption, to take black money out & to make the government use it for the welfare & development of Indians as well as india.it has proved to be the best demonetization since independence but has also generated some problems for farmers, middle & lower class people.it is rabi crop season & also the marriage season & people need a lot of money for these tasks. Marriages can somehow be done simply but for farmers, rabi crop season would return next year only & until then, they would not be able to produce rabi crops leading to a shortage of rabi crops in the market & a tremendous increase in the prices of rabi crops. People go to banks & ATMs but return with no money.
Altogether, demonetization has both good & bad effects on the people of which, the bad effects are temporary & the good ones would be long-lasting.so, lets cooperate with the government & try to make India a better place to live in.
