Paralysed for a minute?

It was a day, a really bad day! I was a little teenage kid & you know how they are- moody & they want whatever they find attractive and charming. They don't understand all that glitters isn't gold neither do they know of good or bad or the value of money.
That's the kind of a kid I was in that moment. After fighting with my parents over some lucrative techy toy, not having lunch & feeling ungrateful for the life mine was (the usual emotional crap!) I stuck to the bed with my face into the pillow so nobody could see the actual look of me.
With the crocodile tears being soaked by my sweet little cushion, in the ocean of my mind I surfed the huge tsunami waves. And as those waves lowered so did my eyebrows.

The next thing I remember was waking up the most refreshing, light-headed & light-hearted I had been ever in my life. I got up to have a good look at the clock but that was when I found my left hand dropped down heavy & cold. The moment of fear lengthened for I was afraid not for losing that hand but for telling my parents so. I lifted it with the right one, beat it, hit it also bit it but no response! The drop of fear that had entered my heart was now evolving spreading darkness until each & every hair on my skin stood and the body trembled.
Then I felt something, a rush through my veins & moved my fingers a little. A ray of hope emerged out of nowhere and my heart was back to its normal self, the fearless self.

The cold, the darkness & the fear went away as the warmth & throbbing filled up the void. And in just a few minutes, my hand made a dazzling transition from a lifeless burden back to its very much alive form.

I learnt something that day, a priceless lesson- Out of nothing arises everything!
