Leadership

Leadership is the art of establishing a successful connection with a group or team & influencing them while keeping them motivated, in order to accomplish a specific task. It is neither in the bloodline nor a birthright but a divine power of the heart & mind. A true leader sets a goal, lays out a methodology to achieve the same & like the intertwined parts a complex machinery he/she works in close pursuit with the group to complete the task within the given resources & time limit.

Leadership is an essential part of any business or organization in order for it to achieve recognition & success. This inter-dependent functioning provides an organisational framework to the whole procedure. The bond between a leader & his crew strengthens as they go solving problems and onwards for the completion of their mission. Leadership is the ability that leads a person to greatness & proof of which can be found throughout history from Alexander The Great to the present day billionaire Elon Musk, coincidentally the third richest man in the world too.

Values & an inspiring character are the virtues of a leader. His image is made full of inspiring life events, mind full of wise thoughts, his mouth opening in words of wisdom while scars of failures make most of his personality. Leadership is characterized by courage to do what no-one else is willing to, cooperation with the whole team, far-sightedness to foresee the future, positive attitude towards even the gravest of conditions, humility towards all & strategic planning to create an easily understandable road map for the plans to follow. To be a leader is to first be a follower.

A good leader shows the path from the darkness of void to the light of hope. He turns a dream, a vision into reality, also unlocking the group's potential on the way. Through his improved navigational skills, he pilots the project through its thick & thin and with his communication skills, the group is held together & also linked to the goal. He is a responsible citizen & abides by the law, rules & regulations. An effective & efficient leader holds the great picture upright so they see it always & keep trying their best to reach the final point. He doesn't do great things but small things in a great way & that attracts him not only admirers & fans, worshippers too. Being a leader doesn't mean to be in the lead but to push others, help them realize their potential by being empathetic, by becoming one of them. True leadership is shown by setting up an example. Leadership requires hardwork but the smart way. Here, creativity, empathy & listening to others are of utmost importance. It ensures the best utilisation of all things available, also considering the best way of saving as much time & resources as can be. 

Leadership is comprised of a variety of different characteristics. A leader may or may not naturally possess all these but he can develop leadership skills through learning opportunities as are provided in school activities & social work. He, being a unique individual, can surely sharpen his pre-existing talents & make use of them to enhance his personality further. However, certain basic qualities such as versatility, i.e. the ability to adapt as per the changing conditions & environment & personal experience dealing with adverse situations are a must. The heat of life is what moulds a person into a leader. Successful leaders do make wonders happen that leave the world amazed.

Success of any business depends primarily upon the organisational hierarchy of the staff from the topmost level of CEOs & founders to the bottom most employees. Leadership is the prime factor that decides how the problems are pursued and how the path is followed jumping over the obstacles to reaching a definite target. It is the magic work of an exceptional leadership that a team not only does unwilling things willingly & enthusiastically but also makes miracles come out of that little package. It is his dealings with hardships & an unbelievable life story that earn him admirers and their respect as well. Like people admire their co-workers so are they motivated by the strong spirit of great leaders of times. Not anyone can be a leader but a leader can be anyone. Though history has many names written in glittering gold ink, only a few shine the brightest & outlive others' sheen, look towards following them for they truly stand different from the crowd.
